Habitforge AI Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Habitforge AI (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an AI habit coach app developed and operated by Sanva, an independent developer (sanva.top). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive only the Apple-assigned User ID and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We do not require your real name or phone number.
1.2 Habit and Completion Records
Habits you define (cue, action, motivation) and each check-in record (done / skipped / failed) are stored in our database, linked to your account, and used to power AI nudges, streak stats, and weekly review reports.
1.3 AI Nudge Generation
To generate contextual AI nudges, a summary of your habit and your last 7 days of completion status is sent over an encrypted connection through our secure gateway to OpenAI for processing. Query content is not retained after the nudge is generated. We do not use it for model training and do not sell it to third parties.
1.4 Subscription Status
RevenueCat manages your Pro subscription entitlement (habitforge_pro_monthly / habitforge_pro_yearly). We store only a boolean “is Pro” flag. We never hold your payment instrument — all payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google.
1.5 Usage Metadata
We log essential call metadata (request timestamp, error code, subscription status) to improve service quality. This does not include AI nudge text or your original habit motivation copy.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Provide cue-based habit reminders, AI nudge generation, streak stats, and weekly review features
- Maintain your habit list and completion history
- Manage your subscription entitlement
- Process account deletion and data cleanup requests
- Debug service errors (error logs are auto-purged after 24 hours)
We do not use your personal information for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose unrelated to operating this app.
3. AI Calls and Data Routing
The app’s AI features (contextual nudge generation, weekly review reports, cue-aware coach suggestions) are processed by OpenAI (GPT models). Your habit data is forwarded to OpenAI through our secure encrypted gateway only after you enable the AI feature. Data is processed per OpenAI’s privacy policy, is not used for model training, and session-level logs are retained for no longer than 30 days. You can disable AI at any time in Settings → AI Features.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted secure cloud database with row-level security — each user’s data is fully isolated
- All transmission uses TLS encryption
- AI nudge query content is cleared from our gateway upon completion of the request and is not used for model training
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from App → Profile → Account settings → Delete account. After you confirm:
- All habit definitions, completion logs, and AI nudge history are cascade-deleted immediately
- Authentication records (Supabase auth) are permanently purged from our servers within 7 days
- Your active subscription is managed by Apple/RevenueCat — deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription; manage that in App Store or Google Play Settings
6. Third-Party Services
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | User authentication and data storage | User ID, habit data, completion logs |
| RevenueCat | Subscription entitlement management | User ID, subscription status (no payment data) |
| Apple Sign in with Apple | Account login | Apple User ID, optional email |
| OpenAI | AI nudge generation (GPT models, via our secure gateway) | Habit summary, recent completion status (cleared after request, not used for training) |
We do not use any third-party advertising SDK or cross-site tracking tools.
7. Children’s Privacy
Habitforge AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us for immediate deletion.
8. Changes to This Policy
For material changes to this policy, we will send an in-app notification and update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
